If you enjoy seeing some of the finest crystal clear lakes, you will want to stop in and rent one of our Kayaks so that you can see the great Maine outdoors as it was many years ago when the Rangeley area was home to our great trail finders.

With a Kayak, you can explore for yourself our chain of seven lakes, where there are many streams and connecting waterways. The area lakes include Rangeley Lake, Mooselookmeguntic Lake, Cupsuptic Lake, Upper Richardson and Lower Richardson Lakes, Kennebago Lake and Umbagog Lake. All local waters offer excellent paddling for the beginner and expert.

When you come into our store, you will notice that we are a Real Nature Store. We carry a very large selection of Maine outdoor books that feature Candle Making, Chair Caining and Weaving, Growing an Herbal Garden, Downeast Recipe Cookbook as well as Cooking Duck and Geese and of course you will want the Maine Freshwater Cookbook, we know you will want to prepare the fish you will catch on your trip.

We also carry Camping Supplies so that your overnight trip will be convenient and enjoyable!
